Next week, Samsung will take the stage in New York to take the wraps off the Galaxy Tab S, its upcoming tablet lineup that will feature AMOLED displays. To tease the announcement, the company has released a countdown video for the event (which is called Galaxy Premier 2014) – there is really nothing left to our imagination thanks to the plethora of leaks regarding the Galaxy Tab S, and the teaser video only goes to confirm what Samsung will be unveiling, showing a tablet with the words “Tab into Color” in the middle.
The Galaxy Tab S tablets will sport 2560×1600 resolution displays in 8.4-inch and 10.5-inch variants, an octa-core Exynos 5420 processor with Mali-T628 graphics, 3GB of RAM, 8-megapixel rear and 2.1-megapixel front-facing cameras, 32GB of internal storage expandable via a microSD slot, a fingerprint sensor, and Android 4.4.2 KitKat. They will include features like Ultra Power Saving Mode, Remote PC, ability to take calls from a connected phone right on the tablet, Download Booster, and more, and will be available sometime in the end of June.
