Since the last couple of high-end devices, Samsung has offered its consumers free premium content through various services, and the company is doing the same with the newly announced Galaxy Tab S. However, this time around, Samsung is taking things a step further – the Korean manufacturer has teamed up with Marvel Comics to offer Galaxy Tab S owners premium content from Marvel's expansive library of comics and intellectual properties. Each Galaxy Tab S is bundled with a free three-month subscription for Marvel Unlimited, which will give users access to all of Marvel's digital comics.
Furthermore, Galaxy Tab S owners will also be receiving early sneak peeks at Marvel's upcoming movies, including the hugely anticipated Avengers: Age of Ultron. It's unclear what these early peeks will entail, though things like early access to trailers will likely be a part of the special content. As one would expect, Samsung will also be using the partnership to advertise its products through Marvel's upcoming movies, adding yet another avenue of marketing its devices to its repertoire.
“Samsung is passionate about the stories around our products and the people to use them.” said Younghee Lee, Executive Vice President of Global Marketing, Mobile Communications Business at Samsung Electronics. “Partnering with Marvel gives us the opportunity to bring our industry-leading mobile display technology to life. Through visual storytelling made possible by Marvel’s outstanding entertainment universe, Samsung’s Galaxy users will be able to enjoy the maximum of our product benefits.”
