The Galaxy Tab S, Samsung's new premium line of tablets with impressive Super AMOLED displays, is now available for pre-ordering in South Korea, two weeks after its pre-order debut in the US. Samsung hasn't revealed what pricing the two tablet variants will carry, but it should be similar to how the tablets are priced in the US (starting at $399 for the 8.4-inch model, which translates to around 406235 won.) The first 1000 customers will be given a free Samsung LEVELon headset, which should complement the brilliant image quality of the tablets with quality sound.
The Galaxy Tab S lineup features 2560×1600 Super AMOLED displays, an octa-core Exynos 5420 processor clocked at 1.9GHz, 3GB of RAM, 8-megapixel rear camera, 16GB of internal storage and a microSD slot, a fingerprint sensor, NFC, IR Blaster, GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.0 BLE and Wi-Fi Direct connectivity, and Android 4.4.2 KitKat with Samsung’s Magazine UX and features such as Kids Mode, Ultra Power Saving Mode, Remote PC, and more. The 8.4-inch variant is powered by a 4,900mAh battery, while the larger model sports a 7,900mAh battery.
