T-Mobile joins Verizon Wireless as the first U.S. carriers to offer the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 tablet. The device will be available in stores starting July 23rd, but will be ready for online orders on the 16th with pre-orders open now. The 8 inch tablet will run you $384, but with $16 monthly payments for two years you'll be able to add it to your Simple Choice plan and get access to 1GB of free data every month.
The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 features an 8-inch display with a 1280×800 resolution, operating on a quad-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processor with 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage (microSD slot included), 3-megapixel rear camera, a 4,450 mAh battery, and Android 4.4.2 KitKat. Certainly a capable tablet, but at this size and price point, you'd be wise to also consider the newly released Galaxy Tab S 8.4.
