The Samsung Galaxy S5 has already been on sale for quite a few months now. Initially the device was only available in a couple of colors and if they weren't enough to float your boat perhaps the upcoming option will, that is if you have held out long enough on purchasing Samsung's latest flagship. Best Buy announced today that it will be exclusively selling the blue Galaxy S5 in the U.S. starting August 17th.
The difference between this blue and the one that is currently available is that the latest features a blue front fascia as opposed to the black front in the existing model. Though still the hue is called Electric Blue for both models.
Best Buy will sell the device with a two year contract on Verizon, AT&T and Sprint. It costs $99 if purchased before August 23rd, which is $100 off the recommended retail price for the handset. If its purchased with a carrier's installment plan Best Buy will give customers a $100 gift card for each activation.
