Samsung has announced that the popular music video service, VidZone, is now available for its smartphones, tablets and Smart TVs in the UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain. The service will soon be made available on Samsung devices in additional countries. The VidZone app can be installed on Samsung smartphones and tablets via Samsung Apps and Google Play Store.
Samsung users can access over 65,000 music videos including exclusive music video premieres, live concerts, live sessions, interviews and behind the scenes footages through this ad-funded service for free without any need for an in-app purchase. VidZone catalogues music videos from all the major labels and more than 1000 independent artists along with hundreds of localised and expert curated playlists as well as genre-based charts. This is the first occasion where VidZone's service will be available on devices other than gaming consoles.
Adrian Workman, CEO of VidZone said: “We’re delighted to be launching VidZone via the connected Samsung platform and excited that new VidZone users can now enjoy our music video application via market leading Samsung mobiles, tablets and smart TVs. VidZone provides music fans with access to a huge catalogue of HD music videos via an intuitive and personalised music video experience both in the home and on the go.”
