Various online retailers in the UK have started registrations for the pre-order of the Gear S which was showcased last week during Samsung's pre-IFA event. Shortly after Unlocked Mobiles opened its registration, other online retailers such as MobileFun, Expansys, and Clove made the Gear S pre-order registration pages live on their websites. The Gear S stock is expected at the end of this month. None of these retailers have revealed its pricing but Samsung had earlier confirmed that the Gear S would go on sale at Euro 299. The Gear S is Samsung's fourth smartwatch based on Tizen and the first smartwatch from Samsung to feature a SIM card slot for voice calls and Internet connectivity. It also features a 2-inch curved Super AMOLED display, 1GHz dual-core processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB storage, Wi-Fi, GPS, heart rate monitor and a 300 mAh battery.
