The Samsung SM-A500 has been making unofficial appearances at a steady pace in recent weeks, and today, we can finally feast on our eyes on what the device looks like thanks to China's regulatory body TENAA. The pictures show a rather unassuming design; while the design might not look very attractive, the SM-A500 is as thin as the Galaxy Alpha at 6.7 mm (the phone measures 139.3×67.7×6.7 and weighs 126 grams.) As we exclusively revealed recently, the SM-A500 will have a full metal body, though the images don't exactly confirm that (but you can see what looks like a metal frame on the sides.)
The SM-A500 is expected to feature a 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display, a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 13-megapixel rear camera, 16GB of internal storage, a microSD slot, and a 2,330 mAh battery. It has a 5-megapixel camera on the front, and will run on Android 4.4.4 KitKat with the new TouchWiz UX from the Galaxy Note 4. At this point, the name of the device isn't known, though an official announcement should happen sometime this month and divulge anything that hasn't already leaked.
