The virtual reality headset that Samsung unveiled at IFA 2014 will soon be out in the market. You might think that its only good for an immersive gaming experience but Samsung will also use Gear VR for delivering media and other content.
The company is giving potential customers a glimpse of what the Gear VR is capable of. A new video shows what the user interface looks like and how it would feel to watch video on the Gear VR. The gaming experience has also been outlined. Overall experience is quite immersive courtesy of head tracking by the Gear VR.
Samsung Galaxy VR costs $200 and will be available next month. For now its only compatible with the Galaxy Note 4 so you will need to pick up Samsung's new phablet as well before you can take advantage of everything that this virtual reality headset has to offer.
