BGR India is reporting that Samsung will be hosting an event in India on September 27 where it will unveil the “Next Generation Stylephone” which would most probably be the Galaxy Alpha. The Galaxy Alpha, which was officially announced last month, was the first Android smartphone form Samsung featuring a metallic frame and a premium design. A similar design pattern was later used in the Galaxy Note 4 and the Galaxy Alpha which were officially unveiled during their pre-IFA 2014 event in Berlin.
The Galaxy Alpha features a 4.7-inch HD Super AMOLED display, Android 4.4.4 KitKat, a 12-megapixel primary camera capable of recording 4K videos and an octa-core Exynos 5 Octa 5430 processor. The device also features 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage and an 1,860 mAh battery. Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Note 4 in India in the first week of October.
