Samsung is working hard on porting Android 5.0 Lollipop to major devices in its portfolio, but many folks are still waiting for the Android 4.4.4 update to arrive on their phones and tablets. The Galaxy S5 on Sprint was expected to receive the Android 4.4.4 update a few weeks ago, with a 4.4.4 build having leaked online as well. Now, Sprint is finally rolling out the update officially over the air, becoming the second US carrier to bring 4.4.4 to the S5, the first having been Verizon over two months ago.

In addition to security patches and bug fixes, the 4.4.4 update will add support for international Wi-Fi calling support and add an icon for HD Voice. Its build number is G900PVPU1ANK4, and owners of the S5 on Sprint should be receiving a notification on their devices over the next few days (advanced users can also download the firmware from our firmware section and upgrade manually.)
