Late last month, we saw the Samsung SM-J100F make an appearance on the GFXBench benchmark database, revealing the specs of what seems to be the first device in the J series of devices that will follow the Galaxy A and E lineups. Now, the SM-J100H (a variant of the J100F for countries outside Europe) has also reared its face online, with the device listed on Samsung's mobile website. The phone's user agent profile reveals that it has a WVGA display and a processor clocked at 1.3GHz – the GFXBench listing of the J100F had confirmed the former, though the CPU seems to be clocked at 100MHz higher this time around.
Also different here is that the processor is listed as a standard Cortex-A7 processor instead of a 64-bit Cortex-A53 processor that was mentioned in the GFXBench listing, so it remains to be seen what Samsung uses in the final device. Other specs of the J100 are expected to include 1GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel rear camera, 4GB of internal storage, and Android 4.4.4 KitKat, and we've reached out to our sources for more info on what looks like a device that could retail for a very low price.
