Case makers around the world are gearing up to launch cases for what could be Samsung's most important flagship yet, and as a result, we have seen quite a few details of the Galaxy S6 leak ahead of its official announcement on March 1st. Leaked schematics had revealed that the S6 will be extremely thin with a 6.9 mm profile, and it is now being reiterated by case manufacturer OBLIQ.

OBLIQ has sent Galaxy S6 case design images to GSMArena, and says the device will indeed be only 6.9 mm thin. With the case on, the thickness will increase to 9.5 mm – that's not thin or sleek by any measure, but hopefully the protection the case will provide will make up for the bulk. The case also shows the heart rate sensor and LED flash on the right of the camera, and we can basically take this as another confirmation of some of the design changes that will be seen on the sixth-generation Galaxy S flagship.

OBLIQ will offer the case seen in the pictures in gold, red and dark grey. As we exclusively revealed earlier this year, the phone itself will be launched in four colors: dark blue, blue-green, gold, and white. The Galaxy S6 will have a metallic design that is expected to be much better than what we've seen on its predecessors, and the device will offer features like wireless charging, a supposedly stunning camera, and the fastest silicon on the market.
