Those who own the Galaxy S5 on Canada's Bell network should keep an eye out for a major software update that the carrier has pushed out today. Galaxy S5 on Bell is now finally receiving the Android 5.0 Lollipop update. As is the case with most software updates these days this one is being rolled out over-the-air. Once the update is installed on their devices users will immediately notice the improved look and feel courtesy of Material Design. Several new features have been added as well such as lock screen notifications, redesigned multitasking menu, improved battery life and more.
As the update is being rolled out over-the-air users will receive a notification on their device automatically when Android 5.0 Lollipop goes live for their region. It is advised that users ensure their device has ample charge in the battery and that they are connected to a decent Wi-Fi network before downloading the update.
