New Edge UX for the Galaxy S6 edge added to Look SDK

Developers take note, a new edge UX for the Galaxy S6 edge has been added to Samsung's Look SDK. The Look SDK provides developers with specialized widgets which can be used for extended functions of the Android View System. Edge allows information to be displayed on the curved screen area of the Galaxy Note Edge and the Galaxy S6 edge.

The edge UX for the Galaxy S6 edge gives developers access to a Feeds Panel which provides simple information. The Galaxy S6 edge only supports Feeds panel. Simple information that can be displayed on the curved area includes News, Sports, Notifications, Finance and more through Feeds panels. For this visual experience users simply need to swipe the edge screen in both directions to wake up the curved part only which will then display the aforementioned simple information, this eliminates the need to wake up the entire display, developers are recommended to use black GUI because the information stream will only work when the entire screen is off.
