After showcasing the Galaxy Tab A at an event in Russia, Samsung has unveiled a new budget Android tablet in Malaysia dubbed Galaxy Tab 3 V. It is the same tablet which was listed as the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite Wi-Fi on Samsung's official website for the Netherlands, and is being seen as the successor to the Galaxy Tab 3 Neo.
It features a 7-inch TN display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, Android 4.4 KitKat, 1.3GHz quad-core processor from Spreadtrum, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, microSD card slot, and a 3,600 mAh battery. In the connectivity department, it features FM Radio, SIM card slot, and Wi-Fi b/g/n. There's a 2-megapixel camera on the front as well as on the rear.

From its attractive price point to its intuitive navigation, this tablet offers users the full reassurance from our legacy of quality devices.”
It will be available in black and white colors, and are already available for purchase at Samsung Experience Stores and authorized dealers at a price tag of RM499 ($135). People in Malaysia can also purchase the Galaxy Tab 3 V for RM239 ($65) with a two-year contract from Maxis.
