The Galaxy S6 Active, the ruggedized variant of the recently released Galaxy S6, was leaked last month, and we exclusively revealed its hardware specifications. Later, it passed the Bluetooth certification and was also spotted in the Indian import listings. Now, we have received some information, which confirms that SM-G890 is indeed the Galaxy S6 Active, and that AT&T will carry the Galaxy S6 Active, when it launches later this year.
As per our insider information, the Galaxy S6 Active will feature a 5.1-inch QHD Super AMOLED display, Android 5.0 Lollipop, octa-core Exynos 7420 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, maybe a microSD card slot (maybe), a 16-megapixel primary camera, and a 5-megapixel secondary camera. Thanks to increased dimensions (73.6 x 146.9 x 8.8 mm), Samsung has fit in a large 3,500 mAh battery.
Thanks for tip, John!
