US Cellular isn't a major carrier in the United States which is why it's not surprising to see the carrier release updates a lot later than major carriers like Verizon or AT&T. Folks who own the Galaxy Note 4 or the Galaxy Note Edge have an update to look forward to today, US Cellular has finally released the much awaited Android 5.0 Lollipop update for these handsets.

The carrier has already updated the support pages for both devices. Version N910R4TYU1BOC4 is headed to the Galaxy Note 4 and N915R4TYU1BOC5 to the Galaxy Note Edge. It weighs in north of 1GB so users better be connected to a decent Wi-Fi network before they start downloading the update. Once the update is downloaded and installed on their handset they'll immediately notice the user interface improvements. Lollipop also brings several new features to the table as well as stability and performance enhancements.
