There have been multiple reports over the past few weeks that Samsung is working on a new Tizen powered handset that it's going to launch in more markets than the predecessor. Several images have been leaked today of a purported Samsung Z2 which may hint at some of the design changes that the company has made, the home button for instance is very reminiscent of the one found on Samsung's Android powered devices.
It appears that the device has a trio of sensors upfront, possibly light, gesture and proximity sensors alongside a front facing camera. Sound buttons seem to have the same look as the Samsung Z1. Some of the leaked images show the device accessing the Korean Tizen Store and some of the apps currently available for the Samsung Z1 can be seen. Rumor has it that the Samsung Z2 has a 32-bit quad-core processor with 1GB RAM, 540×960 TFT-LCD display, Tizen 3.0 UI and a 2000mAh battery. Samsung is expected to launch the Z2 in the first half of 2015.
