After reporting its quarterly earnings last week Samsung announced that it will be adjusting prices of the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 edge to maintain sales momentum, it has decided to cut prices as it gears up to launch the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 edge+. It appears that T-Mobile is the first carrier in the United States that's passing on those savings to customers by discounting both flagship handsets by as much as $200.
T-Mobile is now offering both 32GB and 64GB models of the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 edge for $100 less, this means that customers can pick up the 32GB Galaxy S6 for just $579 and the S6 edge for $679. The carrier has also reduced the price by $200 for 128GB models of both handsets so the Galaxy S6 edge with 128GB storage can now be purchased for $759. The Galaxy S6 with 128GB internal storage is now available for just $659. It's a great time to purchase these handsets from T-Mobile particularly if you've been on the fence because you didn't want to pay more for extra storage. It's unclear when other US carriers will follow suit.
