Success is all in the numbers and according to Kantar Worldpanel Comtech Samsung and LG accounted for 78% of all Android sales during the second quarter ending June 30. This is an absolutely huge market and it reinforces Samsung's position as a giant in the tech industry. LG on the other hand has also increased its sales by a very significant percentage offering Samsung some real competition.
Things are only expected to get better for Samsung, especially in Q3 because they're planning to release two new devices which are going to appeal to a very wide audience: the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 edge+.
