Samsung is experimenting with retail exclusivity in India yet again with the Galaxy Tab S2, with the tablet to be exclusive to Amazon India. Consumers in the country will only get the 9.7-inch variant for now, and those who get the tablet from Amazon will get free 2GB 3G/4G data for two months from network operator Airtel if they have a prepaid connection, and up to Rs. 450 discount on their monthly data bill if they are postpaid subscribers.
The Galaxy Tab S2 features a display with a resolution of 2048×1536 pixels and a 4:3 aspect ration, an Exynos 5433 octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera, a microSD slot and 32GB internal storage, 4G connectivity, and a 5,870 mAh battery. There's a fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button, and the software is taken care of by Android 5.0.2 Lollipop and Samsung's usual TouchWiz overlay.
The Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 can be bought from Amazon India at the source link for Rs. 39,400 (roughly $590).
