It looks like the Galaxy J2's announcement is imminent as the device has just passed through the FCC, and it has also made an appearance on Samsung's support page as the SM-J200H. The device was brought to India for research and development a month ago and it looks like things went smooth and we might be seeing the device out in the wild soon. We have no idea what the phone will look like in terms of design but we do know most of its specs.
These specs include a 4.5-inch WVGA display, an Exynos 3475 CPU, 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of expandable storage, 5 and 2-megapixel rear and front cameras, a 2,000 mAh battery, and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. If you'll take a look at our firmware page you should see that the first firmware for the SM-J200H is also rolling out, which is another indication that we might see an official announcement very soon.
