Samsung has shown time and again that it's a market leader in display technology, no wonder many other companies seek to source their displays from Samsung and that's precisely what Huawei has done with its new Nexus handset. Nexus 6P was announced recently, the device is a collaboration between Google and Huawei, and it fixes one of the biggest issues that Nexus 6 owners had.
The Nexus 6's AMOLED panel wasn't that great, there was complaints about white balance and color reproduction not being up the mark, so this time around the Nexus team went for the best supplier to source displays for the flagship handset. The Nexus team confirmed in a Q&A session over reddit that the Nexus 6P features a WQHD AMOLED panel from Samsung, moreover the team has spent some time tuning the white-point and color gamut for these panels to ensure that the Nexus faithful no longer complain about the display.
