Samsung is really getting on to something with its mobile payment solution, Samsung Pay. It recently added support for 19 additional credit and debit card issuers in the US along with an ability to use gift cards. Now, Samsung is reportedly offering a gift card worth $25 to anyone who activates Samsung Pay or shows that they've activated it already.
According to a Reddit user ApologeticKid, you can visit any Samsung kiosk in a mall and show them that you've already activated Samsung Pay on your compatible device to be able to grab a $25 gift card. It is offering Nike, Whole Foods, Sephora, or some other brand gift cards.
Samsung has been quite aggressive in marketing Samsung Pay, and it had already offered $100 off on any purchase made through the company's official website. Earlier this year, Samsung offered a wireless charger or $50 for free to those who activated Samsung Pay. The company is competing with Apple Pay and Android Pay in the mobile payments space.
