Less than a week ago Samsung unveiled the Galaxy A9, it's the most high-end smartphone in the company's Galaxy A lineup which was also recently refreshed. At that time it was only confirmed that the handset would be released in China and no information about pricing was provided, now it appears that the pricing for the Galaxy A9 has surfaced on Weibo.

If the Weibo post is believed then the Galaxy A9 might cost 3199 yuan, roughly $490, when it's released soon in China. The price does make sense considering everything customers get for their money, the Galaxy A9 has a 6-inch full HD Super AMOLED display with 2.5D curved glass, a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. There's also a 13-megapixel rear and 8-megapixel front camera, a 4,000mAh non-removable battery, microSD card slot and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. Samsung is still yet to confirm when it's going to release this handset in China and when or if it's ever going to be released in any other market.
