Samsung unveils family hub refrigerator with a giant touchscreen

Samsung is eager to show off its latest tech to consumers worldwide and if you've been following their Flickr feed then you may have noticed photos of their upcoming refrigerator. This model is called a “family hub refrigerator” and it features a giant touchscreen. The giant touchscreen strongly resembles a smartphone, because as you can see below the panel has the home button, the back button, menu, info and voice toggle button.

The functionality of Samsung's upcoming refrigerator will probably push beyond that of a fridge; you'll be able to check the calendar or the weather, or even play some music most likely. What's more is that you'll be able to connect your smartphone to the refrigerator and probably use the IoT network to tweak things such as the temperature.

Right now this device is yet to be announced but we expect to see it at CES along with the Series 9 notebooks and some really exciting SUHDs too. The tech event will commence on the 6th of January and lasts until the 9th, and another reason why we're really excited about CES is because the South Korean giant will showcase three Creative Lab projects fir the first time.
