Calling all Galaxy Note 5 owners! Did you know that you can record all your snippets of information in Action memo even when your handset’s display is powered down? It's one of the best features introduced on the Galaxy Note lineup, and it can let you jot down information in a jiffy without going through the motions of waking up your phone, unlocking it, and then firing up Action memo.

It’s super easy to set up, too. Here's how:

  1. Simply head into Settings.
  2. Tap S Pen.
  3. Ensure that Screen off memo is turned ON under the Pen detachment section.

That’s all there is to it. Now when you pull the S Pen out of your Note 5 whilst the screen is off, you’ll see a black notepad appear on the screen. Simply scribble down what you have to remember, hit save, then it will be there waiting for you the next time you head into S Memo.
