According to a benchmark listing, Samsung is gearing up for the release of a new 10-inch mid-range tablet. The tablet is revealed to be bearing model number SM-T585, which doesn't tell us a lot about the device itself. It's still not known as to whether the SM-T585 will belong to the Galaxy Tab A or the Galaxy Tab E series.
The GFXBench listing reveals that the tablet is packing a 10-inch 1920 x 1200 resolution display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of onboard storage (expandable via microSD), an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front camera and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. It is further believed that this large sized tablet is packing a 1.7 GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 chipset underneath while 4G LTE support is also said to be on board.
It's important to note that the tablet here doesn't have an OLED display but a standard TFT LCD panel, which suggests that this is a budget or a mid-ranged offering. It's unclear at this point when Samsung intends to launch this tablet.
