Cricket Wireless has confirmed that it's going to offer the hottest Android smartphone available on the market right now to its customers starting March 18. It's going to sell the Galaxy S7 for $649.99 in stores and online, customers who pick up a unit between March 18 and April 1 will receive the Gear VR free with a 6-game bundle. Customers won't get color choices because Cricket Wireless only has the Galaxy S7 in Black Onyx.
Customers will be able to purchase the Galaxy S7 from more than 3,800 Cricket Wireless retail stores across the United States and also via the carrier's website. It's not going to offer the Galaxy S7 edge, at least for now. It's not the only prepaid carrier that's going to offer Samsung's new flagship handset. Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile have both confirmed that they'll start selling the Galaxy S7 in the near future.
