If you’re a college basketball fan and own a Gear VR headset, you’re going to be feeling pretty happy with yourself right about now as the NCAA has just announced that it will be broadcasting the Final Four semifinals and the championship game in 180-degree video to the virtual reality unit via a new VR version of its March Madness Live application, which is available to download from the Oculus Store.
Whilst viewing the games, users will also be able to check out a virtual scoreboard that displays live stats from the game. There’s also an audio commentary and video highlights — so you can stay up to date with all the latest content just like you would if you were watching the games on a smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer.
