The much-awaited Marshmallow update is finally trickling down to almost all markets where the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 edge were sold. Users have had to wait for a considerable amount of time but that's always the case with major Android updates, no wonder Marshmallow only accounts for roughly 5 percent of all Android devices even though it was released last year. The update is now being sent out for users in Canada.
Eastlink has released the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update for the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 edge in Canada, others will follow suit shortly. Bell has already released the update for the Galaxy S6 edge while Telus will be sending it out on April 14 for the Galaxy S6 edge and on April 18 for the Galaxy S6. Marshmallow has already been rolled out for the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 edge+ in Canada.
