Samsung has finally released the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update for the Galaxy Note 4 in India. It started rolling out the update internationally for this handset less than a week ago so it was only a matter of time before it went live in the country. Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow for the Galaxy Note 4 comes in at just over 1.4GB so it will be wise to download it over a good Wi-Fi connection.
The update brings the new TouchWiz experience that provides enhanced usability and an updated visual design. All features that are part and parcel of Marshmallow are included in today's update, which also comes bearing the March security patch. New features include Google Now on Tap, improved notifications experience, better app permissions and more. Galaxy Note 4 owners in India should soon see the update notification pop up on their handsets if they haven't already received it.
