Samsung is updating the Galaxy Note 5 in India with a minor update that brings the security patches for April. A 19.32 MB download, the update should be about security and stability improvements as it is accompanied by the generic changelog that Samsung usually puts on regular software updates. The firmware version after installing the update will be N920GDDS2BPD2; the same firmware is also rolling out to regions like Nepal and Sri Lanka for the SM-N920G model of the Note 5.
Grab the update by hitting the Download updates manually option in the Settings » About device menu on your Note 5, or upgrade via Samsung Smart Switch. You can also find the full firmware in our firmware database.
Update: The April security update is also available for the Galaxy S6 edge+.
