Samsung Pay has today received a nifty server-side update bringing support for 39 new banks and credit unions in the United States, including Achieva, Bangor Savings Bank, Cornerstone National Bank, Gorham Savings Bank, Hastings City Bank, Having Savings Bank, SEFCU and Summit Community Bank.

If you own a card registered to one of the newly-supported Visa and MasterCard issuers, you should now be able to activate Samsung Pay and store your details within the application, so that you can easily make mobile payments when you’re out and about in the same way that you’d use your physical credit/debit card.
