One of the biggest music festivals in the world will take place in Lisbon, Portugal later this month. Tens of thousands of people will come from all over the world to attend the Rock in Rio festival in Lisbon. Samsung is going to set up a Galaxy Adventure Park at the event to provide attendees with thrilling Gear VR-powered virtual reality experiences.
Samsung often sets up camp at major events to showcase its VR technology to as many people as possible. The Rock in Rio festival presents the company with a great opportunity to do that once again. At the Galaxy Adventure Park, people will be able to check out three unique VR experiences that include virtual roller-coaster rides, virtual skydiving and even virtual bungee jump over a volcano. Doing all of those things in real life might be scary for a lot of people so they can appreciate how Samsung's virtual reality technology gives them a taste of it all without them even having to stand up.
