Last month, Samsung took the wraps off a Pink Gold variant of the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge in South Korea. Unfortunately, the company failed to provide a launch date for the handsets. It simply branded them as “coming soon”. However, independent technology blog GSMinfo.nl has today published a report claiming that T-Mobile will start selling the devices in the Netherlands on Thursday, June 23.
Aside from being anodized in a new hue, the Pink Gold models of Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge pack identical internals to their standard Gold, Silver, Black and White counterparts, meaning they will both continue to sport a Snapdragon 820/Exynos 8890 Octa CPU, an Adreno 530/Mali-T880 MP12 GPU, 4GB of RAM, a 12MP rear-facing camera and a 5MP selfie shooter.
At this precise moment in time, it's unclear whether the Pink Gold variants of the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge will be sold exclusively through T-Mobile in the region, but we expect them to be available through a handful of different operators and third-party retailers seeing as this is intended to be more of a general release and not a limited one.
