You never know when you may need to print a document from your smartphone, so it's good to have the functionality configured right from the word go. Unfortunately, getting Wi-Fi print set up on an Android handset is quite a lengthy procedure, which involves you having to download a third-party plugin called Google Cloud Print, but once it's installed, the process becomes plain step-by-step sailing.
To download Google Cloud Print, you'll need to head into Settings, tap More Connection Settings, followed by Printing, then hit the button entitled Download Plugin. After a few seconds, Cloud Print will appear on your phone. Now all you have to do is follow the on-screen instructions to pair your phone with your home printer, which should take around 3-to-5 minutes. Once complete, you'll be able to print remotely from your device.
