Steve Wozniak is one of the co-founders of Apple. He's not involved with the company anymore but he's known for expressing his views on latest technology, and he feels no qualms in praising the biggest rival of the company he helped create. Speaking at a conference in Lexington, Kentucky, where he received the Alltech Humanitarian Award, Wozniak revealed that the Gear VR makes him emotional.
He spoke highly of Samsung's virtual reality headset, saying that “It takes you to other worlds. It's so real. It's everywhere you look. That one gets me emotional.” He also appears to be a bit sad that Apple hasn't come out with a virtual reality device yet, hoping that the company is working on a VR device that's “advanced compared to the ones we're seeing.” Who knows when Apple is going to step into the world of VR but at least we know that Samsung will continue working to cement its position in the VR market.
