A new report from research firm IHS reveals that Samsung Display has led global AMOLED sales in the first quarter of 2016. Research shows that Samsung remained ahead of the competition in global sales of small and mid-sized Active Matrix Organic-Light Emitting Diode displays. In terms of sales, Samsung Display accounted for 30.6 percent of the global market share.
Japan Display follows in second place with 17.1 percent of the market while LG Display is third with 12.9 percent market share.
