Samsung officially announced the Galaxy S7 edge Olympic Games Edition last week. It's a limited edition version of the Galaxy S7 edge that Samsung has created to commemorate Rio 2016 Olympics, Samsung has had a long association with the games and it's looking to use that position to promote its products. The limited edition handset has been released ahead of the start of the Rio 2016 Olympics, Samsung made sure to roll out Samsung Pay in the Olympics host to get maximum exposure for its mobile payment service.
The company released an official unboxing video of the Galaxy S7 edge Olympic Games Edition earlier today when it confirmed that the handset is now available in select markets which include the United States, Brazil, China, Germany and South Korea. We already know how much Samsung is selling this handset for in South Korea and now US customers can find out exactly how much they have to pay to get their hands on one. The Galaxy S7 edge Olympic Games Edition can be purchased from Best Buy right away for $849.99, that's a $100 premium over the regular Galaxy S7 edge, but then again you get what you pay for. Do keep in mind that this limited edition handset is only available in limited quantities so if your heart is set on one don't waste time in picking it up.
