Almost near the end of July, Samsung is updating the Indian variants of the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge to the security patch dated July 1 (which contains the security fixes for the month of June). As we posted recently, Samsung will be pushing the second July patch, which is dated July 5, to its devices with the security update next month. The Galaxy S7 and S7 edge updates in India are sized at 104 MB and 100 MB respectively and carry build number XXU1APGF.
These updates are currently rolling out over the air. The rollout seems to have begun just today, so you might not have received a notification of its availability just yet. If that is the case, just hit the Download updates manually button in the Settings » About device menu and the update should start downloading right away. If you find anything new or changed other than the security patch date after installing the update, do let us know through the comments section.
