It has even released the Olympic Games Edition Galaxy S7 edge in limited quantities to commemorate the games. The company today announce the release of the Rio 2016 Official Application, an app it created in collaboration with the Rio 2016 Organizing Committee.
It will enable you to better enjoy the games this year as it will provide relevant information such as Olympic Games schedule, venue and event information. The app will also feature results, medal counts as well as real-time updates across all Olympic and Paralympic sport. Aside from up-to-the-minute updates, users can also check Olympic and world records and specific details about sports, teams, athletes, venues and more. Official news from the International Olympic Committee will be featured in the app as well.
The app is customizable so users can focus on the information that matters to them the most. They can configure it to get results and push notifications based on the countries, sports or even the athletes they want to support. The Rio 2016 Official Application also includes a Samsung Zone which provides information about the company's activities at the Olympics this year. This app is now available for download in English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese and Korean from Galaxy Apps, Google Play Store, Apple App Store and the Windows App Store.
