South Korea's three largest operators, SK Telecom, KT and LG Uplus, have today revealed that they will start accepting pre-orders for the newly-announced Galaxy Note 7 both in-store and online at 9 a.m. on Saturday, August 6. The handset will only be available to purchase in the 64GB baseline model, which comes in three colors — Blue Coral, Gold Platinium, and Silver Titanium — each carrying an eye-watering price tag of 988,900 Won ($890).
All three carriers are offering their own discounts, though, to make the device that little bit more affordable:
- SK Telecom — A total saving of up to 480,000 Won for those who purchase the Galaxy Note 7 under a two-year contact using the T Samsung Card V2 credit card.
- KT — A discount of up to 360,000 Won for those who order the Galaxy Note 7 under a two-year contract using KT Olleh’s Super Card.
- LG Uplus — A 7 percent discount on monthly network usage payments for customers who buy the new handsetthrough the company’s online shopping mall, the U+Shop.
