If you've been following news from the technology industry recently, I'm sure you're aware of Apple's rumored decision to remove the traditional 3.5mm audio jack from its upcoming iPhone 7. Instead, it will release a handful of headphones in partnership with Beats that have been specifically designed to work with its homegrown Lightning connector. The Cupertino company is also expected to take the wraps off a Lightning to 3.5mm adapter, which will enable customers to use their own earphones with the handset.
What we'd love to know how you'd feel if Samsung followed in Apple's footsteps by dropping the 3.5mm audio plugin from the Galaxy S8 in favor of the flurry of USB Type-C headsets that are set to hit the market from leading manufacturers, including Audio-Technica, Beats, Bowers & Wilkins, Sennheiser, and Sony.
