Samsung has unveiled its new smartwatch today and it can now get down to the business of selling the Gear S3. Most major retailers will be selling the device while the LTE model is going to be sold by mobile carriers. One of the fastest growing mobile carriers in the United States has now confirmed that it's going to sell the Gear S3 frontier later this year.
Two models of the Gear S3 have been launched today – the Gear S3 classic and the Gear S3 frontier – the latter being the one with LTE compatibility. What this means is that you can use the smartwatch to access the internet, stream music, send messages and even make phone calls without pairing it with a smartphone. No pricing information has been confirmed yet as it will be the carriers who will decide how much they will charge their customers for this smartwatch. T-Mobile has only confirmed today that the Gear S3 is its first LTE smartwatch and that it's going to start selling it later this year in the fall.
