It would appear that Canadians aren't too keen on the idea of chopping in their now-recalled Galaxy Note 7 for a refund or replacement as Bell has started rolling out a second maintenance update for units in the region.
Unlike the previous upgrade, which limited the handset's battery to 60 percent, this latest build introduces “indicators that encourage customers to contact Samsung regarding the replacement/return of affected devices.”
Although it's unconfirmed, we expect other operators in Canada to follow in Bell's footsteps by rolling out similar updates for their carrier-branded variants of the Galaxy Note 7 in the not-too-distant future.
