Earlier today, Samsung held a conference in South Korea to reveal the reason for the Galaxy Note 7's unfortunate demise. As you can imagine, prior to the event there was a lot of confusion surrounding whether there would be another iteration of the Galaxy Note, but the firm's mobile chief D.J. Koh has revealed that there is in fact going to be a Galaxy Note 7 successor.
“I will bring back a better, safer and very innovative Note 8,” said Koh. It's unclear how the entire debacle has affected the Galaxy Note range's reputation, though, but we think with the right approach, all of the bad press will blow over pretty easily. There are still many Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note 5 owners looking to upgrade, and if they're pleased with the Galaxy Note 8, their golden reviews will encourage others to follow suit.
