Samsung is currently selling a couple of smartphones running the Tizen operating system, and it has plans to launch more, especially in developing countries like India, Bangladesh, and Nigeria. The company has just started the development of its first smartphone running Tizen 3.0 operating system.
The SM-Z250F will be Samsung's first smartphone to run Tizen 3.0, and it goes by the name ‘Pride' internally. It will be launched in the same countries that saw the launch of the Z2. Moreover, the South Korean smartphone giant is focussing on voice control with the brand new version of Tizen.
Apart from smartphones, the company also sells Tizen-powered smartwatches, fitness trackers, and TVs. It recently acquired Viv Labs, an artificial intelligence startup. The upcoming Galaxy S8 is said to feature a new AI voice assistant named Bixby, which is powered by Viv.
