Samsung has announced a range of new home appliances at the 2017 International Air Conditioning, Heating, Refrigerating Exposition in Las Vegas. The majority of the devices on display fit into the firm's Max Heat Series, which is essentially a multi-part heating system designed specifically for cold regions, with the main exception being its unveiling of the world's first wall-mounted Wind-Free AC unit.

According to market researcher Tracqline Monday, the South Korean company topped the US home appliance market with a 17.3 percent market share last year, beating out long-time No.1 American homeware manufacturer Whirlpool. It's believed that Samsung is hoping its latest products will take the industry by storm; enabling it to maintain its position at the top of the table.
